IAP2 Remote Engagement Essentials Workshops 2024

Does your work involve engaging with the residents in regional and remote communities?

Would you like to learn more about planning, engagement projects and developing your intercultural engagement skills?

IAP2's Remote Engagement Essentials Workshop is designed to provide participants with an overview of the essential components for effective engagement in regional and remote Aboriginal communities.

This two-day accredited course is hosted by the Remote Information and Engagement team in conjunction with Engagement Plus and the Aboriginal Interpreter Services. Training is FREE to attend, however people who register and do not attend or cancel 48hrs before the workshop may be invoiced to recover lost funds.

Sessions will be held in Darwin, Tennnant Creek, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy and Alyangula.

Proposed 2024 Training Dates:

  • Darwin:  Tues 12 & Wed 13 March 2024 – 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Darwin: Tues 30 April 2024 & Wed 01 May 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Darwin: Tues 15 & Wed 16 October 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Nhulunbuy:  Tues 16 & Wed 17 April 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Alyangula:  Tues 13 & Wed 14 August 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Tennant Creek: Tues 10 & Wed 11 September 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Alice Springs: Tues 20 & Wed 21 August 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Alice Springs: Tues 19 & Wed 20 November 2024 - 8.30am to 4.30pm
